Watch the basketball online in real time to follow the NBA All-Star Weekend

NBA All-Star Weekend, a celebration of the top players in the league, takes place between February 17 and 19 this year and is one of the biggest weekends of the basketball season.

Several NBA top players will compete in nine different activities over the course of three days in games and challenges (find a full schedule below).

This guide will walk you through everything you need to know about how to stream the NBA All-Star Weekend, including which cable or internet platforms are broadcasting live streaming and when you’ll need to tune in.

How to watch the NBA All-Star Weekend in the United States

NBA All-Star weekend is going to be spread out among a few different networks and providers in the US, which might make streaming difficult.

The majority of the events are on TNT, but in order to view all that is being provided, you also need ESPN and NBA TV. We’ll note the channel you require for events in the schedule below.

Thankfully, a number of live TV streaming providers provide all three, even if your cable bundle doesn’t contain TNT, ESPN, or NBA TV (or you don’t have cable). TNT and ESPN are included in Sling TV’s Orange plan ($40 per month), while NBA TV requires an additional $11 for the Sports Extra bundle. These three channels are available on YouTube TV as well, however it costs a little more each month at $64.99.

There are solutions that will allow you to view some, but not all, of the events because FuboTV lacks TNT and Hulu with Live TV lacks NBA TV.

NBA All-Star Weekend activities are held in the UK at Sky Sports and the NBA League Pass, respectively.

Your best option is the latter, the official NBA streaming app. It costs £69.99 for an entire season or £14.99 a month (after a seven-day free trial). You may use this to view all of the events.

The NBA Rising Stars Game, All-Star Saturday Night, All-Star Draft, and All-Star Game are some of the NBA All-Star Weekend events that are broadcast on Sky Sports’ Main Event channel. Sky costs £26 per month, and adding the Sky Sports package adds another £18 to make it £44.

A Virtual Private Network might help you if you want to watch the NBA All-Star Weekend festivities while you’re away from home (a VPN).

You may watch events like the NBA tournament even if they are not being broadcast in your area directly by using a VPN to alter your IP address. Our preferred VPN is ExpressVPN(opens in new tab), which is currently recognized as the best VPN globally by our sister site, TechRadar.

Friday, February 17, at midnight UK/7:00 PM ET on NBA League Pass and ESPN in the US
The inaugural NBA All-Star Weekend event is held in the Jon M Huntsman Center. Two teams of NBA players and other celebrities compete in the celebrity game.

Actors Everett Osborne and Sinqua Walls, artists Kane Brown and Cordae, WNBA player Diamond DeShields, and others are on the first team, which is led by Utah Jazz governor Ryan Smith.

Simu Liu, Janelle Monáe, 21 Savage, Nicky Jam, and comedian Hasan Minhaj make up the second team, which is led by NBA Champion Dwyane Wade.

Ruffles Crunch Time, which initiates a momentary double-points mode, and Unlock A Legend, which allows a team to pick an NBA legend, are two unique rules that should make things interesting.

The NBA All-Star Practice event is exactly what it sounds like: it gives the players who will compete in the NBA All-Star Game on Sunday an opportunity to get ready for the exhibition.

Fans have previously had the chance to observe well-known athletes off the court (or at least off the competitive court) and observe their training methods.
